Public Invited to Ribbon Cutting for Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital

The region’s only freestanding children’s hospital is just days away from opening its doors.
The public is invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital at Piedmont Columbus Regional on Wednesday. The event will start at 2 p.m. at the new facility, located at 616 19th Street, and will feature the reveal of a turtle mascot naming contest, officials said.
