The College is pleased to announce this year’s honorees: Isabella Powell-Walker as Distinguished Athlete, Dr. Bridgett Jackson as Distinguished Alumni, and Dr. Donna Fleitas for Distinguished Service.

CVCC takes great pride in honoring these remarkable individuals who have left an indelible mark on our institution.

In 2020, Powell-Walker advanced her education by earning a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Strayer University. She is now making a meaningful impact as an Employment Specialist, assisting high school students with disabilities in securing competitive employment opportunities. Her dedication to empowering others exemplifies the spirit of excellence and service that CVCC celebrates in its Hall of Fame. Powell-Walker’s achievements, both on and off the court, inspire current and future generations of CVCC students.

Distinguished Alumni: Dr. Bridgett Jackson

The Hall of Fame event has been the CVCC Foundation’s largest fundraiser since 2014, with $684,700 raised for the Student Scholarship Fund.  An evening celebrating our 2025 Hall of Fame inductees is set for March 6, 2025.
