Mediacom Communications recognized five local employees based out of the Columbus Mediacom office, who achieved the company’s top performance rankings for outstanding customer service over the past year. 

Last month, an award ceremony was held with corporate executives, where the Columbus-based individuals were recognized for their high performance in 2024. 

Betty Reese earned the highest marks in service performance over the past year, resulting in a National Gold-level award for excellence in customer service. She has been employed by Mediacom for seven years. 

Nakieta Lemon has been a Mediacom employee for 18 years and received a National Silver-level “Scorecard for Excellence” award. She was one of 35 employees nationwide to earn a Silver-level award for exemplary service in 2024

Melinda Dawson and Jacqueline Buchanan earned People’s Choice awards for excellent performance rankings as customer service representatives in 2024. Rodney Bowles received the Employee’s Choice Award and has been employed by Mediacom for seven years. 

Companywide, Mediacom employs over 3,500 people, and the award recipients were among 196 employees recognized for performance achievements over the past year. Award recipients receive a monetary bonus and other employee recognition.
