City Council Sub-committee Recommends New Clerk of Council for Approval

The City Council sub-committee has recommended a new Clerk of Council following the passing of former clerk, Sandra Davis.
The City Council has recommended Columbus native, Lindsey McLemore, who currently serves as the Deputy Clerk of Council to fill the Clerk of Council position. A resolution for McLemore’s appointment will be presented at the Council Meeting held on March 11 for approval. The position was formerly filled by Sandra Davis. Davis passed away on Feb. 1.
