Muscogee County Jail Looks To Receive Long Overdue Replacement

The Muscogee County Jail has been standing for over a century and now the facility needs a new roof. The current roof for the jail is leaking water and it’s been patched up as much as possible but now, after receiving the approval of city councilors - the jail will get a long overdue replacement.
You can seen the need for repairs as soon as you walk into the facility. There are missing pieces of the ceiling where water has been leaking for quite some time. There is no time table for when this will be complete, however jail staff tells me this is something that is needed immediately.
