Columbus Implements Temporary Tree Debris Pickup Moratorium Following Severe Weather

In response to the damaging storms that swept through the Midland area on Sunday, the Columbus Consolidated Goverment’s Department of Public Works has announced a temporary moratorium on standard yard waste collection policies.
Beginning Wednesday, April 9, through Saturday, May 31, the city will offer free curbside collection of large tree debris in Midland and other areas deemed significantly impacted by the storm. After this grace period, regular fees from Trees for Fees program will resume.
