Chattahoochee Valley Community College Honors
Dual Enrollment Graduates at 2025 Award Ceremony

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Friday, May 2nd, 2025

Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC) proudly recognized the outstanding accomplishments of its 2025 Dual Enrollment graduates during a special award ceremony held on campus today. The celebration honored high school students who successfully completed college-level coursework through CVCC’s Dual Enrollment Program—earning valuable college credentials before receiving their high school diplomas.

This year, four students earned Associate Degrees, while an additional 52 students were awarded short certificates in high-demand fields including welding, general studies, phlebotomy, and information technology.

“These students have shown incredible commitment, maturity, and resilience,” said Demeka Daniels, Dual Enrollment Coordinator and Success Coach at CVCC. “Balancing high school responsibilities with college coursework is no small task, and we are thrilled to celebrate their success. They are leaving here with a strong academic foundation and a head start on their future goals.”

CVCC’s Dual Enrollment Program continues to grow thanks to strong partnerships with local school districts and community support. By offering high school students the opportunity to earn college credit in a supportive environment, the program empowers students to save time, reduce college costs, and gain confidence in their academic abilities.

Today’s event brought together proud families, faculty, school leaders, and community members to honor these determined young scholars and celebrate their academic journey.
