St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School proudly congratulates Jose Ayerdi (Class of 2026) on being named a Semifinalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Jose earned this honor by scoring in the top 1% of students in Georgia on the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). He now advances in the competition, joining other top students nationwide in pursuit of scholarships through the prestigious program. He is one of eight students in Columbus, Ga., to achieve semifinalist recognition this year.

"Jose’s dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence have earned him this recognition,” said High School Principal Carolyn Brewster. “We are extremely proud of his accomplishments.”

Finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program will be announced in early-2026.
