Columbus Pastor Organizes Relief Fund For Hurricane Melissa Victims In Jamaica

- A Columbus-area pastor with family ties to Jamaica is organizing a hurricane relief fund after Hurricane Melissa caused significant damage to homes, major flooding and power outages across the island.
Pastor Jay Bailey of Solid Rock Church in Midland is a Jamaican native who has family in Kingston and Montego Bay. Bailey said he spoke with his brother in Kingston through the WhatsApp app but has not heard from his family in Montego Bay since the hurricane hit.
