Winn-Dixie, a once dominant grocery chain in the South, will divest dozens of stores in the coming months as it sharpens its focus on Florida, its home state for over a century.
Southeastern Grocers, Winn-Dixie’s parent company, announced Tuesday that 32 Winn-Dixie stores and eight Harveys Supermarkets across Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi will be impacted by the transition.
