Several Columbus Government Departments are Relocating

The Columbus Consolidated Government has announced that several major departments will relocate to a centralized space at City Hall early next year as part of an effort to improve public accessibility and streamline operations.
Effective Jan. 5, 2026, the engineering, planning, community reinvestment and inspections and code departments will move to City Hall, located at 1111 1st Ave. These offices will close at their current location at 420 10th St. at the end of business on Jan. 2.
