The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) today announced a new articulation agreement with American College of Education (ACE) designed to expand affordable, flexible educational pathways for TCSG students, graduates, and employees. The agreement creates transfer and enrollment opportunities into ACE undergraduate and graduate programs while reducing both time to degree completion and overall student debt.

Through the partnership, eligible TCSG students, graduates, and full-time employees who enroll at ACE will receive a tuition reduction grant, applied each academic term. The agreement also maximizes the acceptance of transfer credit—allowing students to carry forward a significant portion of previously earned coursework and further reduce the cost of completing a degree.

“This agreement reflects our shared commitment to expanding access, affordability, and opportunity for Georgia’s workforce,” said Greg Dozier, Commissioner of the Technical College System of Georgia. “By reducing barriers to continuing education, we are helping our students and employees advance their careers while minimizing debt and time away from the workforce.”

Under the agreement, ACE will accept up to 84–90 hours of transfer credit from TCSG and other approved institutions, enabling students to shorten their time to completion and significantly lower their tuition investment. These pathways are structured to recognize prior learning and credentials earned through Georgia’s technical colleges.

“ACE is proud to partner with the Technical College System of Georgia to support students at every stage of their educational and professional journeys,” said Geordie Hyland, President and Chief Executive Officer of American College of Education. “This agreement ensures students and employees have affordable, flexible pathways to advance their skills and credentials while balancing work and life responsibilities.”

The partnership provides TCSG students and employees streamlined access to a wide range of online academic and credentialing options, including bachelor’s-completion, master’s, doctoral, nursing (BSN/MSN), and micro-credential programs. These offerings support career advancement in leadership, healthcare, education, and other high-demand fields aligned with TCSG workforce priorities.
