Harris County Schools Names New Superintendent

The Harris County Board of Education announced Michael Barden as the new superintendent of Harris County School District.
The board held a meeting Tuesday night, inviting community members to welcome Barden into his new position.
The selection comes after a search that began in December. Twelve applications were submitted, and candidates were screened and interviewed by Georgia Leadership Associates.
