Three separate road projects are underway simultaneously on Buena Vista Road, creating what residents and business owners describe as a prolonged disruption that has forced some businesses to relocate or close.

“It’s a perpetual construction site for nearly a mile and a half and it’s just crazy,”

’’It’s been six years since they been working on it and stuff and it makes it kinda hard for the people in the area.’' two residents said.

A $47 million project to widen the Buena Vista Road Bridge along Interstate 185 has been underway since 2020. Six years later, the project is 82 percent complete according to the DOT website.
