New Early Learning Center Opens in Columbus Mill District

A new early learning center opened in the Mill District, giving working families in the area a childcare option close to home and work.
The Growing Room Early Learning Center held its grand opening Friday morning with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The center is a partnership between the Mill District Incorporated and Growing Room, backed by sponsors including Georgia Power Foundation and FIS.
Organizers said the goal is to make quality childcare more accessible for families in the neighborhood.
