Piedmont Healthcare leaders cut the ribbon on Piedmont Specialty Pharmacy South, located at the Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus.

This specialty pharmacy, which officially opens on June 1, will support unique medication needs for the cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, pulmonology, rheumatology and urology medical specialties.

“Piedmont Specialty Pharmacy South will improve access to life-changing therapies for patients who often face the greatest barriers to care,” said Piedmont Healthcare Executive Director of Specialty Pharmacy Jennifer Harbin. “By coordinating medication management, insurance support and ongoing clinical monitoring, we’re helping patients with complex diseases stay on therapy, improve outcomes and experience a higher quality of life. This is an investment in our patients and community.”

Piedmont Specialty Pharmacy South is located at 727 Center Street and will be Piedmont’s sixth pharmacy location in Columbus that provides safe, effective drug therapy for patients.
