Wednesday, August 5th, 2026
Columbus Technical College recently honored students completing its
healthcare programs during summer pinning ceremonies. Graduates from the Surgical Technology, Nurse Aide, Medical Assisting, and Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) programs were recognized for their academic achievements and commitment to entering the healthcare profession.
Pinning ceremonies are a cherished tradition in many healthcare disciplines, marking the successful completion of a student's education and readiness to begin professional practice. Family members, friends, faculty, and staff gathered to celebrate graduates as they reached this significant milestone.
“These ceremonies recognize the dedication, perseverance, and compassion our students have demonstrated throughout their training,” said Dr. Matt Dennis, Associate Vice President for Health Sciences and Nursing. “We are proud to celebrate their accomplishments and look forward to the impact they will make in healthcare settings throughout our region and beyond.”
As the demand for qualified healthcare professionals continues to grow, Columbus Technical College remains dedicated to preparing students with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience needed for successful careers in healthcare.
