Columbus Technical College welcomed more than 300 community members to its annual SpookChella Trunk-or-Treat and Community Festival on Friday, October 30, providing a safe, family-friendly evening filled with entertainment, activities, and Halloween fun.

Attendees enjoyed trunk-or-treating hosted by Columbus Technical College academic programs, student organizations, and community partners. Families collected candy and treats while learning about educational opportunities and local resources available throughout the Chattahoochee Valley.

The event featured participation from several community partners, including the Corvette Club, Davis Broadcasting, and Community Ambulance Services, whose support helped create an engaging and memorable experience for children and families.

In addition to trunk-or-treating, guests enjoyed live music, inflatables, games, miniature golf, food trucks, and costume contests. The festive atmosphere brought together students, employees, alumni, and community members for an evening focused on family fun and community engagement.

“SpookChella is a wonderful opportunity for Columbus Technical College to bring our community together in a fun and welcoming environment,” said Ken Lockhart, Director of Recruitment and Campus Life, Columbus Technical College. “We are grateful to our employees, students, volunteers, and community partners who helped make this event a tremendous success.”

The event reflects Columbus Technical College’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and creating opportunities for families to connect with the college in meaningful and memorable ways.
