Whitney Mooney, Georgia Farm Bureau’s Associate Director of Info/PR, describes how you can learn more and enter your favorite farm dog. Last year’s winner, Belue, a Shetland Sheepdog from Sumter County, was selected from over 150 entries and recognized at the Sunbelt Ag Expo.

Helene, the most devastating weather-related loss in Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance’s history, caused catastrophic damage across the state, generating over 10,600 claims in the first week alone. The challenges felt never-ending: homes were destroyed, roadways were inaccessible, and hundreds of people and businesses were dealing with extended power loss.
